Qigong for Health and Total

Qigong is a holistic approach to wellness and is a powerful tool to overcome the disease if any. It benefits the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. I’ll take one at a time and just explain some of the improvements you can expect to experience in your life when you practice qigong.

PHYSICS – its resistance to cold and cough increased, I lost count of the number of students who pre-qigong just had to be looked at by someone with a cold and the next day they have. Qigong practice, hardly or never be caught by some ‘bugs’.

There is good reason for this, as you practice qigong its energy begins to flow smoothly through the energy pathways (meridians) in your body and this increases your bodies natural energy to deal with all the “dis-ease causing agents before they to know a problem exists.

His ability to cope with natural stresses and stains of modern life will increase. Those things in your life that currently, “press the buttons’? Gradually, his ability to get to you will decrease as you take everything in your stride.

You’ll find yourself waking earlier in the morning (of course) and feeling clear headed and ready to start the day. Although when it first starts happening, you will be convinced that you need more sleep and wake at the usual time feeling groggy and thick head – I did it and so have many of my students.

EMOTIONAL – Every time you practice qigong that are learning to “open your heart” over and over. And I am not referring to the four chambers muscle in his chest. I’m referring to “release” Chinese heart. In TCM the heart is considered the ‘Emperor’ is the supreme controller – which houses the Shen (mind / spirit) – that is, it is very important!

As a result of their emotions become more balanced, you no longer feel like you’re on a roller coaster with ups and downs of crushing. You will experience more ease and joy.

The more you continue to practice Qigong on a daily basis, the most familiar of these states and will become substantial.

MENTAL – If you like 99.99% of the population, your mind will usually be filled with too much useless chatter, mostly unconscious. If you stop reading this for a minute you can verify that the statement itself.

How many times a song (which you probably do not like very much) get stuck in your mind into an infinite loop? How often do you enter a room and forget what did you get in there? Have you ever been in a conversation with someone and forgot completely that really important point that you wanted to do?

Qigong students regularly comment on significant improvements in mental clarity. This should not come as a surprise when he realizes that his qigong practice actively develops mental clarity.

But what is the mental clarity? clarity of mind is a mind that is clear, but clear of what?

Clear of all thoughts.

So if you have the mental clarity that means you will no longer be able to think? What will you become an idiot? No, quite the contrary.

What this means is that when you need to focus on something, is a problem that needs a solution, or just deciding what to have for lunch, you have troubling thoughts that steal the mind of its immense power.

For example – thinking is normal as the rays of sunshine, warm. Thinking with the benefit of mental clarity is like holding a magnifying glass focusing the sun’s rays to a fine point. Now you have the power to burn holes in things!

SPIRITUAL – Your Spirit / Shen is responsible for its ability to create, it directly affects their intelligence, memory and ability to articulate thoughts clearly.

You will notice that there is an overlap between the benefits of emotional, mental and spiritual aspects of Qigong practice and there is good reason for it.

You see from the western perspective, holistic health is seen from the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. But from the perspective of qigong is not only the physical and the heart. With the “heart” in connection with the emotional, mental and spiritual. Thus, mental and emotional illness is considered a disease of the heart.

Depression is perhaps the most common disease of the heart, affecting not only his “spirit” but also have a negative effect on their emotions, the mental and physical well-being. But I’m happy to say that there are numerous examples of practitioners of qigong that through its practice of qigong have thrown their heart / mind from the tyranny of depression. Myself included. Unfortunately many people neglect the spiritual aspect of their lives and the spirit is so important to health, happiness and well being.

Conclusion

Qigong has the potential to overcome pain and illness, promote health, vitality, longevity, mental clarity and spiritual cultivation. It is a powerful tool for overall health.
